MIDE '07- A dive show to remember: by Tim Hochgrebe; I recently returned from one of the newly emerging dive shows in Australasia, the Malaysia International Dive Expo 2007 (MIDE '07).

Goodbye Cocos. Hello Christmas Island!: by Wandy Hochgrebe; We waved goodbye to the crew from Cocos (Keeling) Islands until our arms hurt. We were a bit sad to leave everybody behind, but also excited about what was going to come. After only an hour the plane started to descend again and we could see Christmas Island. It was very clear straight away that Christmas Island is geologically very different from the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

Stars in the Sea: by Tim Hochgrebe; Driven by a love of the sea and its largest fish, the elusive whale shark, Australian naturalist Brad Norman has received a Rolex Award for Enterprise for creating a worldwide photo-identification system which enables ordinary people to assist in its conservation.
