Ocean Diving and Photographics is purely a charter boat and diver education business. As there is no dive shop or shopfront involved, we are able to keep costs to a minimum and pass on the benefits to our customers. If you want to go diving or snorkeling on Australia's famed Gold Coast or the northern New South Wales coast Ocean Diving and Photographics is for you. Welcome to one of the best but least-known diving spots on Australia's east coast. Right on the doorstep of the nation's tourist capital are some of the most colourful and exciting dive locations in this part of the world, where the skyscrapers meet the sea.

Boat Description:

Our fully surveyed charter boat, OCEAN DIVE is purpose built for diving and fishing. It is an 8.4 metre 'Alfarm Fisher' built in Victoria out of aluminum with the same hull design as their Bass Strait rescue boats. It is powered by a 250hp outboard and has all the current safety equipment and emergency oxygen. It also has VHF radio (to keep in touch with Air-Sea Rescue) and a mobile phone, as well as all the latest electronic navigation equipment. Sit-down tank racks and a proper dive boarding ladder. It also has a full canopy to protect you from the sun as well as side curtains to protect divers from the wind during surface intervals.

Sites Visited:

Some of the dive sites we visit include the PALM BEACH REEF a large expanse of reef with lots of tropical fish and leopard sharks. And of course, the COOK ISLAND MARINE RESERVE with some of the best variety of dive sites in one area. Dives range from caves and tunnels to gradually sloping ledges. We also have a huge range of advance dive sites as well .
