Ayr
Ayr is situated on the northern approach to the Burdekin Bridge, 85 kilometres south of Townsville. The natural beauty of the rivers, creeks estuaries lined with unspoiled mangrove and miles of sandy beaches make the area a mecca for fishing, crabbing, windsurfing and water skiing. It is a bird watcher?¢¬Ä¬ôs paradise with 280 species of birds recorded. Fantastic lookouts are located on Mount Inkerman and Mount Kelly.

Ingham is located 85 km south of Townsville, right on the Bruce Highway. Coaches service Ayr daily. The closest airport is in Townsville.
