Underwater Recommendations
The Bouvard Reef, south-west of Mandurah, is renowned for the diversity of fish life. Five Fathom Bank, three to five kilometres offshore between Halls Head and Florida, is another superb diving area. The James Service Reef, complete with the shipwreck after which it was named, is about eight kilometres north-west of the Mandurah Estuary entrance. The Reef continues northward in a chain known as the Murray Reef, and is crammed with marine life in a myriad of shapes and forms.
