If travel is the elixir of life, then a visit to Micronesia is truly a feast of exotic experiences and underwater adventures.

From seeing a traditional village dance, taking a hike to a secluded lake or waterfall, or making a dive beneath the sea to a coral laden shipwreck, there's something for every adventuresome taste. Micronesia offers a diverse range of natural ecosystems, from mangrove swamps to lush tropical rainforest and pristine coral reefs.

The islands are blessed with many indigenous and introduced bird species. The lucky visitor may even spot the occasional rare deer, monitor lizard or fruit bat in the more rural areas.

A profusion of tropical shrubs, flowers and trees numbering more than six hundred species of higher plants are found in Micronesia. Hibiscus, Hong Kong orchid, ironwood, eucalyptus, Honduras mahogany, papaya, banana, coconut and plumeria trees can be found just about everywhere.
