Shepparton

Shepparton is the city centre of the Goulburn Valley, a major agricultural and food processing region termed the 'food bowl of Australia'. The city, on the banks of the Goulburn River, offers a wide range of year-round activities and has all of the attractions you'd expect in a large regional city.

Activities and attractions:
- Find a spot by Victoria Park Lake and enjoy a family picnic in fresh air and peaceful surrounds
- Visit the internationally recognised ceramics collection at the Shepparton Art Gallery
- Try milking a cow or feed the animals at the Emerald Bank Heritage Farm
- Learn about Aboriginal culture and history at the Bangerang Keeping Place
- Take the kids to the enormous, purpose-built Ardmona KidsTown Adventure Playground, featuring a miniature railway, giant slides, tree houses, a fruit bin maze, flying fox, swings and monkey bars
