Tasmania

Hi All

Will be in Tassie for 3 weeks in December and would love to blow some bubbles while down there.

Where are the good dive spots, I'm into Wrecks but would love to get amongst some of those giant kelp forests I've seen on TV (herd a rumor that higher water temps have killed them off??)

I'm on a PADI Advanced ticket, any info appreciated

Regards Propduster

Hi,

The Kelp is still fine, you should go to Bicheno and Eaglehawk Neck, friend have been there and say its amazing.

Hey propduster

A friend of mine does dive charters at eaglehawk neck (including kelp forests) and other areas around hobart. Hes a lot cheaper than eaglehawk dive centre and also specialises in rec fishing dives for crayfish, abalone etc if you are interested in that. There are also wreck dives in that area but im not very familiar with them (as yet!). Let me know if you are keen for more info. We will be doing a lot of diving in december.

Cheers Alli
