This is a unique opportunity to spend a couple of weeks diving in tropical paradise for an unbelievable price!
Northwest Island is part of the Great Barrier Reef. Expect to see turtles hatching, manta rays, reef sharks, colourful corals, and all types of reef fish!
The Underwater Club of the University of New South Wales has a limited number of places available on our annual summer expedition to Northwest Island in January 2007.
For $933 you can enjoy 17 days on the island, including transfers to/from the island, camping permits, unlimited airfills, boat dives, meals and snacks, and a couple of "party nights" each week. This price includes club membership, so you'll also be welcome to attend any of our regular weekend dive trips throughout 2007!
The expedition departs Gladstone on 6th January, and returns to Gladstone 23rd January. We have a day or two each side of these dates for provisioning, cleaning, etc.
There will be approximately 25 divers and snorkellers attending, and we will have full use of Dijabringabung, our 6.8m Rigid Hull Inflatable dive boat, as well as a 4m tinny we use for spearfishing and diving.
