Australia's Own Diving Association

Having been over here and Diving for a few months I am beginning to wonder why Australia does not have it's own club based diving organisation (akin to Bsac or Scotsac).

I am not bashing PADI, NAUI or similar organisations but I think the Aus diving scene could benifit from the creation of such a scheme.

Basically just looking at how strongly people feel about this before looking into how realistic it would be to set up, if there is nothing that exsists already.

Hi Mike

That sounds like a good idea, if a little difficult to start up!

I am a Dive Instructor working in Thailand and we at Sunrise Diving have been looking into setting up an Ex-pat Diving Group which can not only benefit people already living here, but also those who are looking for information to come over here and for those who have just arrived here.

This is something you may also want to look at

For any more information on this then please do not hesitate to contact me, Happy Diving!! Emma
