2486 divers participate in a mass simultaneous dive off the coast of North Sulawesi in Indonesia

Now I am not sure if it is a good thing ... but there was a new Guiness World Record set when 2486 divers participated in a mass simultaneous dive off the coast of North Sulawesi in Indonesia.

I guess it would have been 'interesting' to be part of this and it might help to create awareness about diving as a hobby/sport, but I think the stunt misses the point of what diving is all about.
